Plainly: what we keep, and who sees it.

What we store

Your email address (so you can sign in), the circles you draw (slices, labels, notes), and the groups you start or join. That's it. No tracking pixels. No third-party advertising.

Who can see your circles

By default, only you can see the circles you draw. A circle becomes visible to others only when you choose to share it — either by sending a share link or by joining a group. Group members can see each other's circles within that group, and nothing else.

How we keep it safe

Circles runs on managed cloud infrastructure with row-level security, meaning the database itself enforces that only you (and the people you've shared with) can read your data. Your password is never stored in plain text.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, or by emailing us. Deletion removes your circles, group memberships, and notifications. Anything you shared into a group remains visible to that group's existing members unless you remove it first.

Questions

Circles is small and we'd rather hear from you than not. Reach out any time and a real person will write back.
